Background. Eosinophilic esophagitis (Ee) is a chronic immune-mediated disease of the esophagus, which characterized by symptoms esophageal dysfunction and marked eosinophilic infiltration mucous membrane (MM) organ. Currently, interest in problem global medical scientific community steadily growing. has no pathognomonic symptoms, causes great difficulty for diagnosis. Clinical case description. The paper describes two clinical cases patient T. (4 years 10 months) M. (5 2 months). Patient was admitted to gastroenterology department Children’s Regional Hospital (CRCH), with complaints hiccups, flatulence, intermittent abdominal pain, coughing when swallowing. history showed that child been ill since beginning March 2021, pain appeared epigastric region along esophagus eating. Parents sought help Central District Hispital, where surgical ENT pathologies were excluded. referred gastroenterological CRCH, where, according results esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGDS), diagnosis “Erosive reflux — esophagitis” made. After stopping erosive process underwent repeated EGDS biopsy, diagnosed “Eosinophilic esophagitis”. Prescribed treatment: hypoallergenic diet, topical glucocorticosteroids (fluticasone propionate), proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), antacids. As result treatment, improvement noted it decided transfer budesonide therapy form viscous suspension, after persistent positive effect observed. In second case, girl constant nausea eating pain. sick she 1. examination also revealed moderate eosinophilia, an increase level alkaline phosphatase. Fibrogastroduodenoscopy biopsy endoscopic signs EoE. A Treatment: glucocorticosteroids, PPI, antacids, antiemetic drugs. treatment brought about certain dynamics. Conclusion. presented show diagnosing esophagitis, this are not very specific.
